Summer Interns' Volunteer Service Project

This past Monday took our interns into town to do a community project in the Village of Mount Victory, Ohio. The ladies worked together as a team to clean up a flower bed established at the park's entrance sign. They pulled weeds, planted a few annuals, and laid down new black mulch to help create an inviting and eye appealing entrance.

The interns will continue to monitor the bed and water when needed throughout the summer months as well as water the town's downtown flower urns planted in spring by the town's Community Improvement Corporation committee members. Peggy Harrison, owner of the Tea for Three antique store in the village was gracious enough to be our contact from the CIC group for the project and give the interns this volunteer service opportunity.

Mt. Victory, Ohio is best known for it's many antique stores and friendly nature of its leaders and resident's.
